Location: Between Paris and Nice.
Dates: From Monday, 28 June 2010 to Saturday, 03 July 2010.
Description: The plan is to reach Nice from Paris in 6 days, only riding the twisting roads of Morvan, Beaujolais, Jura and the Route des Grandes Alpes*. Once in Nice, the idea is to use the French auto/train service to transport our motorcycles back to Paris. Or to continue the adventure on our 2010 Corsica Tour...

*The Route des Grandes Alpes is a tourist itinerary through the French Alps between Lake Geneva and the French Riviera passing over all the high passes of the Alps within France.

Trip duration:
6 days / 5 nights.

Days riding: 6.

Overnight stays: Cluny, Thonon-les-Bains, Val d'Isère and Barcelonnette (x2 nights).

Mileage per day: 200-250.

Highlights: curvy roads and beautiful sceneries through the regions of Morvan, Beaujolais and Jura. Corner-packed mountains roads and breath-taking vistas between Lake Geneva and the Mediterranean Sea on the Route des Grandes Alpes.

Accommodation is planned in independent, reasonably-priced 2 or 3-star hotels providing high quality service, authenticity and the discovery of local food specialties.

Conditions for participation: a good spirit, a good riding equipment, and a naked bike or sport bike of character.

Maximum number of bikes: 12.

English-speaking tour leader throughout the whole trip.

Price: TBC. Count around €55 per night and per person for half-board accommodation in 2 or 3-star hotels on twin room basis, travel insurance, custom-made itineraries, and English-speaking tour leader on fast and wanton Ducati Streetfighter.
